Regional Faith Network

Locally Rooted. Regionally Coordinated. Statewide Impact.

The FAC Regional Faith Network bring faith leaders together across four regions of New Jersey to ensure that local voices, local needs, and local solutions are at the center of everything the NJ Faith Action Center does.

Regional Faith Network are where the work comes alive on the ground — connecting congregations and faith communities in their own neighborhoods to resources, partnerships, and coordinated action that makes a real difference.

Each faith network is a powerful, region-specific network of faith leaders who know their communities and are positioned to mobilize them.

The Four Regional Faith Networks

North Jersey Faith Network Serving faith communities across the northern counties — from the urban neighborhoods of Essex and Hudson to the suburban and rural communities of Bergen, Morris, and beyond.

Central Jersey Faith Network Connecting faith leaders across Middlesex, Mercer, Union, Somerset, and surrounding counties — one of the most diverse and densely connected regions in the state.

South Jersey Faith Network Uniting congregations and faith institutions across Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland, Cape May, and Atlantic counties to address the unique needs of southern New Jersey communities.

Shore Region Faith Network Supporting faith communities along New Jersey's coastline — connecting leaders in Monmouth and Ocean counties who serve year-round residents and seasonal communities alike.

What Regional Faith Network Members Do

  • Attend regional meetings to share insights and priorities from their communities
  • Advise state leadership on the most pressing issues affecting families and vulnerable populations in their region
  • Help disseminate information about grants, initiatives, and opportunities through their congregation networks
  • Coordinate collaborative, faith-based responses to regional challenges and emerging community needs
  • Participate in statewide initiatives shaped by the Faith Action Center

How Members Are Identified

Regional Faith Network members are identified through:

  • Relationship-based invitations — from trusted networks and respected leaders across the state
  • Community recommendations — from local clergy and community leaders who know their region
  • An open call for participation — giving all interested faith leaders the opportunity to express interest in serving

No matter how you come to us, what matters most is your commitment to your community and your willingness to be a bridge between the people you serve and the resources they deserve.
