NOTICE - Nominating Petition Filing

Completed nominating petitions may be submitted in person or electronically by either facsimile or email and must be received by 4:00 pm on July 7, 2020. If the petition is submitted electronically, no hard copy is required to be submitted.

Effective immediately as a measure to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, nominating petitions for FEDERAL AND STATE OFFICES can be emailed to the following email addresses or faxed to the number listed below.

If you are an for Independent candidate running for a County or Municipal office, you must provide your petition to your County Clerk.

Please only send petitions for FEDERAL AND STATE OFFICES to the below email addresses:

Single Signature Electronic Candidate Petitions

Effective immediately as a measure to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, candidate’s can now obtain signatures electronically on a nominating petition. Please be advised that these are only supplemental signature pages. A candidate/designee will still need to complete all of the required documents (i.e. Certificate of Acceptance, etc.) All of the statutory requirements will remain the same.

Pledge of Allegiance
If you are a candidate and you have not already signed and notarized an Oath of Allegiance, please complete a Pledge of Allegiance (which can be found in the additiona required documents links above).

Please be advised that the Affidavit of Circulator page does not need to be notarized. A circulator would still need to Print and Sign their name and include their address.
